Description

From the car park at the head of the loch, follow the path along the side of the loch, through birch, hazel and oak woodlands. Return by same route.

Access Info

Turn off the A82 signposted for Glen Etive, and drive down the wild glen to the head of the loch. Park by ruined pier.
No public transport.

Additional Info

Loch Etive has been compared to Norway due to its fjord like appearance - mixed woods, rocky hillsides and its abundance of wildlife.
