The route described amalgamates the various forest trails which start from the Visitors' Centre at Stroan Bridge and offers first-time visitors a sample of the superb upland scenery on offer, without scaling the heights or plumbing the depths.

Access Info

Turn off the A714 at Bargrennan, pass through Glentrool Village and then turn right (signposted 'Glen Trool'). Cross Stroan Bridge and park at the large car park at map ref 373786 near the Visitors' Centre.
