Description

Turnberry for the Non-golfersA short beach walk along Turnberry Bay to the Lighthouse and the ruins of Bruce's Castle. It is believed that Robert the Bruce was born in this castle in 1274 - long before the golfers took Turnberry to belong to them.

Access Info

Parking is available in a small car park on the A719. Heading south, pass through Turnberry and past the hotel. The car park is on the southern edge of the village. From the south, head north on the A77.
