Description
A number of extensions have recently been added to the walks in Daviot Wood. The walks vary in length and are colour coded, allowing of various permutations. A map near the information office in the car park shows the layout and enables a choice to be made. Here the red and green walks have been combined to give variety of tracks and of woodland. In dry weather no special footwear is needed; wear wellies or boots in wet conditions. This is a good family walk, with no steep bits. In winter these trails are very ski-able.

The car park is on the northbound side of the A9 dual carriageway, about two miles south of Inverness (NH 710412); no bus service.
