Description
This is a short walk through mixed woodland, both coniferous and deciduous, which leads through a narrow valley alongside a small stream.
Starting at the car park this walk starts off on almost level ground before rising through quiet mixed deciduous woodland. It then gives way to more coniferous woodland, again with a variety of species. The most picturesque part of the walk comes near the end, where after passing by a small dammed pond it continues downwards through a very narrow valley. By now the path is part of what was once a small mill lade, which snakes its way through a canopy of trees back to the car park.
Access Info
