Eididh nan Clach Geala

One of two hills (the other being Meall nan Ceapraichean) which are in the northern part of the Beinn Dearg group, on the north side of Gleann na Sguaib. Meall nan Ceapraichean is near the head of this glen and has a steep rocky west face which is well seen on the approach up the glen, but Eididh nan Clach Geala is not so distinctive. It does have a steep crag on its south side, but otherwise it is a rather featureless hill.

The route to these two hills is up Gleann na Sguaib from Inverlael at the head of Loch Broom. There is a track for 3 kilometres along the lower forested part of the glen, and beyond it a well-defined path leads all the way to the col at its head where there are some little lochans. From the end of the path climb north-west up an easy ridge to Meall nan Ceapraichean. Continue over the lower top of Ceann Garbh and descend north-east to the col below Eididh nan Clach Geala. A grassy ridge leads to this hill. Descend west then south-west to join a stalker's path which leads from Lochan a' Chnapaich down to the main path in Gleann na Sguaib.
